I have created a new blog by request while Chris is away in training and perhaps even when he gets access to a computer I will continue working on it.
The site is www.goarmychris.blogspot.com
I will hope to keep everyone up to date on what he is doing there. Enjoy!

Army
On January 23rd Chris will leave for boot camp. Mixed feeling from me. Excited for the changes that are to come and that Chris will be working with computers and doing something he enjoys, but sad that for 29 weeks (10 for boot camp and 19 for specified job training) Chris will be away and I won't get to see him. So wish us luck.
Christmas 2006
Hey! I know it has been quite some time since I posted anything here, but I've been busy. I know it is just a lame excuse, but too bad.
Christmas this year was all planned out and set to go... Then it snowed. Nick couldn't fly in, we couldn't drive out, my sister couldn't get to our place to watch the cats, and we had no food in the house. But soon things were back on schedule. We dropped the cats off with my grandparents, Nick flew into Albuquerque instead, and we managed to dig our car out of the mountain of snow it was under. We met up with Jonathan and Kate in Colorado Springs and we were off.
Being down in Albuquerque with all of Chris's family was great!!! Chris got sick from all the stress before we got down there and being outside too long in the cold and I in turn got his cold ten times worse. :( Stupid weak immune system. But we had a wonderful time. Christmas was completely different from how my family works, but it was awesome. We got to see everyone open each present and I love seeing everyone so happy (especially if you consider that everyone was up at 6:00 am).
In Chris's family all the sibblings and spouses "draw a name" and do presents that way. This year Brad had me and made a couple of my presents into this really cool drag racer. :D
Then on the 26th Chris and I were able to go to the Albuquerque Temple and recieve our endowments and we were sealed for time and all eternity!!!! Whoo hoo!!!! It was incredible!!! Words can't explain how wonderful it is to be able to go to the temple and to be sealed. :D
Overall... This was one of the best (although not very restfull) vacations and Christmas's ever!
