New Office

So today was my first day "working" at Redstone. Redstone is one of the association we manage and from now on I will be down at their clubhouse for four hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays I will be out here from 1-5pm and Thursdays I will be here from 9-1. It was slightly boring today, but I can't complain, because the rest of the employees are moving all our stuff into our new office. Ha ha, suckas. :P They are having a moving company help, but it was nice to get away from the chaos. Redstone is located really close to c-470 and Kipling, so I think I might just hop on the highway and go to the temple after work on Tuesday. Woot! After we are settled into the new office we will get my computer up and connected to the laptop at Redstone so I can work like an IT guy on my computer back at the office. Kind of cool. :) I am excited about my new position and the lady I will be assisting is awesome.

Busy

I am so glad that time is cooperating with me and flying by not crawling like a snail. One thing I'm sure that helps is being busy. For the next month I am booked. This week alone I have visiting teachers coming tomorrow, Wednesday is family night, Thursday is the first day of moving at work (we are moving to an office even closer to my apartment), and I am going to see an old friend on Sunday. Plus, it is Jessica's birthday and Sabrina's due date on Saturday! I am so excited for them. :) Then May is crazy... Cindy's birthday, My birthday, Jessica's high school graduation, Brad's college graduation, Enrichment night, Christy's baby shower, and that is only the beginning. :) Wow!

Chain Lock

So on Monday night some guy tried to get into my apartment! YIKES!! He was trying to put a key in the lock, so my guess is he was just drunk and confused, but it kind of freaked me out a bit. I was yelling through the door "You've got the wrong house! Please Go Away! You've got the Wrong House!" I know that probably wasn't the smartest thing to say, but it was late and I wasn't thinking straight. So, I bought a chain lock yesterday and went to install it and remembered... my door is made of metal. :( Great... so now I have to figure out if I can install the chain thing on my door anyway or if they make one of these lock things for metal doors.
